Eric Wagner
Lesson Policy

  • Each lesson will provide you with; the necessary fundamentals of music, learning techniques appropriate to your age and skill level, a diverse multimedia learning experience, the essentials needed to be a great musician, and most importantly, fun!
  • Lessons are offered mostly in 30 or 60 minute increments with the occasional 45 minute lesson allowed based on the schedule.
  • Students pay for lessons by the month, in advance. Payment is due on the last lesson of each month for the following month. Ex. If lessons are on Tuesdays you will pay on the last Tuesday of September for all of October’s lessons. If payment is not made on time and in full, lessons will not continue and your lesson time will not be held. Payment can be made by check, cash, or Paypal (ask for details). Late Payments will be subject to a $10.00 late fee.
  • Make-up lessons: Students will get a maximum of three make-up lessons within the school calendar year not including the summer. Students must call or email to cancel by 9 pm the evening before your lesson in order to receive a make-up lesson. It is the student’s responsibility to call and arrange a makeup appointment.
  • In the event of inclement weather you should call, 914.805.4479, to check for cancellations or go to www.cancellations.com and look for a listing for Eric Wagner’s Drum Studio.
  • If Eric needs to cancel a lesson for any reason, He offers students the choice between a makeup lesson, a refund, or a credit for the following month.
  • Students must arrive at their lesson on time and prepared.  He will always wait at least 10 minutes before assuming you are not coming, and lesson time missed will not be made up.
  • Students must have their sticks, books, and all handout materials for each lesson. There will be required books to purchase based on specific needs, as well as the necessary musical equipment, i.e. sticks, drum pad, etc.
  • Eric expects every student to take each lesson seriously with dedication, as he will do the same. With consistent practice you will improve. Eric puts in a lot of time, energy, and background into his teaching, and expects you to put forth your best effort in these lessons and the practice required from week-to-week.
